Tomatoes – Constipation, Weakness Or Even Paralysis
Tomatoes are good for us, but sadly, they don’t do any good for our dogs. If ingested in big amounts, leaves, stems, and vines of this red fruit (yes, it’s a fruit! You thought it’s a veggie?), your dog can get sick from the alkaloid known as atropine. The signs that could be indicating the harmful effect of tomatoes are constipation, weakness, excess drooling, restricted breathing, diarrhea, or it can even lead to paralysis. Maybe now you can flaunt the newly acquired knowledge in front of the other pet owners at the park!
