Blue Cheese – Seizures, Diarrhea & Vomiting

While not all cheese varieties are toxic for dogs, blue cheeses are definitely unsafe for them. The presence of a substance known as Roquefortine C makes this food item harmful for your dog as they happen to be extra sensitive to it. Issues like vomiting, twitching, high temperature, diarrhea, or seizures may arise as an effect, and it can be even more intense if the canine ends up consuming a large quantity. On the other side, it’s possible that your pet might be lactose intolerant, and if that’s the case, no cheese is good for them – not even a small amount.
