Meat By-Products – Contain Harmful Organs

This can be a misleading term mentioned on the packet of food you just bought for your hound. Meat by-products are the waste coming from the slaughterhouse, and even if they may contain organs, they can have ‘anything’ that you could never think of giving to your dog. There can be beaks, feet, tumor pieces, underdeveloped eggs, or even intestines. Believe it or not, there is actually a person at the meat place who removes the feces from intestines and puts them into pet foods. Sounds gross, right? So, in case you see any meat by-product on the food’s label, consider putting it back!
